For those of you that confess the name of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this book is going to cause you to think how much your profession and confession show forth the manifestation of the Spirit of the God you serve, whom you say you love. This book is going to cause a self-examination of our roles as women in the body of Christ and within our own homes.

 

 

Nadeen Simmons, the main character in this book, is one of those Saints that 'Ain't'  yet she doesn't know it. She is so far caught up with showing the outer image of God she has forgotten that the true reflection is within her heart where only God can see. She serves in many roles within her church and is proud of each and everyone but the one that gives her the most satisfaction is the role of Head Usher of Greater Trials M.B. Church.

 

 

She is assured this prestigious position of authority is going to gain her entry into the very doors she is protecting every Sunday morning, the doors that take you into the Sanctuary or the Inner Court. The doors that can issue you into the presence of God and make you white as snow by the blood of Jesus. She carries herself as a pillar of the Greater Trials M. B. Church and with that honor she can have no disgrace from family or friend. She is so busy serving her Pastor she forgets to serve at home. She is so busy serving the Man of God she forgets to serve the Man God gave her. She is no nonsense when it comes to sin. She won't have it in her house or her church.

 

 

If everyone at Greater Trials M. B. Church didn't know who runs things they better ask at the door. Same thing goes for Nadeen Simmons household.

 

 This book is going to be a conversation fire starter and it is going to get HOT AS HELL !

AS I LOOK BACK OVER MY LIFE

 

 

Looking Back Over My Life ( God's Mercy and Grace)

As I look back over my life I see the Mercy and Grace of God so obvious in my life. It is only obvious now because I opened my eyes and my mind to the understanding that everything is spiritually and everything is by the Will of God. It takes spiritual growth to realize this truth. How many of us can now look back over the past mistakes, sinful acts, near death situations and know that he kept us in spite of.

As the song says, 'You been better to me than I been to myself.' I put my own soul in danger of eternal damnation BUT GOD. I could have gone into a situation and the spirit of murder been present BUT GOD. I could have died in bed with some body's son that was not my husband, as God ordained it to be BUT GOD ! Many nights I walked home late by myself past dark railroad yards and railroad cars, their could have been a spirit of rape in that place or even kidnapping BUT GOD !

I could have chosen to pick my own husband and been in an abusive relationship with someone or been disrespected BUT GOD ! I could have chosen to continue in the spirit of strife, fighting men when I got angry and even carried that into my marriage BUT GOD ! I could have continued with a mouth as foul as a dead body in the sun BUT GOD ! I could have gone through life with no compassion or conscious when it came to other people less fortunate than I BUT GOD !

I could have chosen to carry hate in my heart for the rest of my life for the young man that attempted to take my body by force BUT GOD ! HE BLOCKED IT !

How many people really see that God has been showing them Mercy and Grace not just recently but continually ? He didn't just start when we decided to change our hearts, minds, ways and conversations,he started the moment we came into this world. He kept us from dangers seen and unseen. When we decided to go our own way he showed us Mercy and Grace because he wanted us to get it right. He wants to put that golden crown upon our heads, he wants to call out our names in the Book of Life, He wants to hold us in his arms and say, "Well done my good and faithful servant.'"Most of all , he wants us to LOVE HIM AND OBEY HIM FULLY ! He is here to help us if and when we fall.

If we want to repent and turn our lives around he is there with outstretched hands to help us do that because of his love towards us and his great MERCY AND GRACE of which we have no object on this earth that we can measure it with. How many of us really see that he has been there all the time and that is the ONLY REASON we are in this current time still covered by his MERCY AND GRACE.-Amen
